About My Journal:

I rant, I rave, I throw tantrums. No topic is off limits to me. I may cause a flood of emotions in you with things I say. I can piss you off, make you embarrassed, or fill you with joy…maybe even all three. But many topics, again, are adult in nature…if you can’t be mature, then don’t read this journal of mine.

Even though I pride myself on being nice, I do have the need to say what is on my mind. Some of it isn’t very nice, but the only thing I ask is that you be respectful. If you feel like trying to change my mind on subjects I write, go ahead, but be prepared to beat your head against a brick wall. I am very set in my ways and often stubbornness gets the best of me. I also do not subscribe to a lot of what is “politically correct”…in fact I think a person can be TOO politically correct.

I may friends lock occasionally, so don’t be surprised. If you want to read everything, just friend me.

In a nutshell: I am a house"wife", I am a poet, I am a newspaper delivery person, I am a good cook, I am a mother (3 kitties), I am an artist, I am crazy, I am an avid reader, I am creative, I am original, I am a child, I am a closet comedian, I am a girlfriend and a boyfriend, I am a dancer, I am flowing with the ebbs and tides, I am a collector of precious junk, I am a Japanese soul at heart, I am a photographer, I am proud of my mother, I am a thinker, I am a eBayer, I am diagnosed MPD/DID but I am NOT a "disorder" though I like to cause it ^_^, I am a fanatic about my anime, I am a student of life, I am living with spirits in my apartment, I am sometimes manic, I am an organizational engineer ^__^, I am Empowered and Non-disordered, I am living in the wrong time, space and generation, I am a webmaster, I am a survivor, I am an asthmatic, I am an amateur historian, I am sometimes depressive and delusional, I am exercise challenged, I am one of many yet individual, I am good-hearted, I am obessed with Law and Order and CSI, I am a giver till I bleed type of soul, I am a package deal (no substitutions allowed) and generally...

1. I am gay (lesbian if you want to get technical). I live with my partner of 10 years, have 3 cats and am blissfully happy with my life as it is right now. To all you "homo-haters" - If you have come to my journal to flame, get over yourself. Your flamed comment will be deleted first and foremost.

2. I am a positive thinker, for the most part (even I have my days). I like to believe the best about people and do my best to help them whenever I can.

3. I have DID (or as most of the multiple communities prefer to still call it - MPD). This is not a "disorder", it is my life. This doesn't affect how I treat people on a day to day basis. Don't worry, if you friend me, I am not going to stalk you or hurt you or even mess with your head. What you see in the movies is NOT the reality.

I was diagnosed as a tween so I am already comfortable with myself and I just want you to be comfortable with me to. This is me...this is us...can you handle it? If not, don't friend me...I don't want to deal with the games. For the convenience of others and friends I shall stick with the singular pronouns in much of the journal. This is for your comfort factor, not mine. I don't mind either way. Just know that in my home, their is a lot of "we" usage.

You will read everything there is about me and maybe a few things you don't want to know. Ignore those parts. ^_^ And discover who I am, for I am an individual worth knowing.
